Great, another drum channel.
I've been watching videos from this "channel" for forever, and then started actually uploading things to it in Nov 2017. I record audio with one mic because I'm lazy and less experienced with multi-tracking (at least from the engineer side), and I record video with a GoPro, my janky Facetime laptop camera, and a Nikon D7200 on some older videos. The result looks and sounds way too lofi and grungy for UA-cam.

I can't remember if a subscriber told me to check this song out (I thought they did, but I can't find the comment anymore..?), or if my Soundcloud algorithm turned me onto it. But I love it. And they play shows with Fred Cracklin sometimes, which is cool, too. Also go check out Fred Cracklin if you read this, their drummer is just stupid. Or Mochitsuki.

I made a video of me covering this whole song, where I played the *actual* beat at the beginning - then I edited it down to this much for IG, and in the process, accidentally deleted the full version. So here's the IG edit, only it goes to the end of the song, unlike what I put on IG. Thanks to @Fuckthesecomments for requesting the song. Used a single pedal for the whole track.

Thanks to @aretzitamayo2850 for requesting this. I can't get to even a drop in the bucket of requests I get, but this one felt fun to do. I kept it fairly straight-ahead and to the tee on the original beats, but with *some* improv (as always). I'm using a free version of Filmora right now and screen recording with Quicktime from there, then dropping it into Logic Pro's super janky video / audio...

I'm now using a MacBook that's too old to even re-download iMovie, and I didn't wanna stick a giant Filmora watermark on the vid - so I just used Logic Pro's built-in video/audio synch (which is only so-so). That also means no captions, emojis covering my face, or drifting cars as I'd originally hoped to put in there. Oh well. Still filming with a Samsung phone, but now it melts charging cords ...

I'm living with a buddy I've known since middle school, I've got another source of private students, and i just opened for femtanyl tonight (and i will again tomorrow). And my ex and i are still very close friends, with a "who knows" but kinda open future (in a positive way). So things have been looking up.
